Japanese American Pioneers of Orange County

The mapping project of Japanese American Pioneers of Orange County features a small sample of the Japanese American pioneering community in Orange County during the early 20th century. Created as a digital asset for Digitizing Historic Wintersburg, the first phase of this ongoing mapping project aims to identify residences, businesses, schools, places of worship, and other community buildings. Visitors can view an image and read a brief description of each location listing. Some listings also provide a segment of a recording of an oral history.
